A sports photographer with a different
eye for things.
A graduate of The University of Alabama, David Gray is a former UA Athletics Student Athletic Photographer (2019 - 2023) and a former Assistant Photo Editor for The Crimson White (2021 - 2023). After college, he went into the role of Seasonal Photographer for the 2023-2024 Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. He is currently the Assistant Director of Athletics Photography for Auburn University.
His focus is primarily sports, where he aims for a higher goal than a simple action photo: telling a story. He believes every photo has one and that those images are sometimes the most difficult, but important to capture. His goal with photography isn’t just to show you a moment, but, to make you feel as if you’re a part of the moment yourself.
